Many manufactors of databases which are usable with WinMOS®300 develop their ODBC Drivers in a 64 Bit Architecture (for example Win7, 64Bit).

WinMOS®300 programs, such as Emergency, Call Acceptance, Statistics and so on, are deveolped as a 32 Bit Version. Therefore, please use the 32 Bit Version of the ODBC Driver.

Your modem is V.250 compatible but it dosn't work with the lift controller.

externes ModemThe development time of modern products is becomming shorter. Many products are produced with an early firmware version inside. The fully developed firmware you have to download from the webside of the producer an update the product before you can use it.

So look at the webside of the modem producer and update the modem if you can find a new firmware there. We recommed to use an industrial modem for the lift controller.

Can I use any modem for WinMOS®300?

WinMOS®300 uses only standardised commands to control the modem. So you can use all Hayes- or V.250-compatible modems.
For our lift controller we recommend only industrial modems with a watchdog function inside (e.g. Devolo MicroLink™ 56k i).

You use a soft modem in a laptop. After the modem synchronisation the connection cancels.
